SFS Cockpit

EDA whole crew helicopter 
mission & tactics trainer cockpits

Both cockpits will eventually be mounted on Bio-Robotic Motion Texture Platforms.

 

The cockpit superstructures were built from Inrekor composite panels and fabricated aluminium sheet.

 

SFS have designed and built custom space-frame cockpits with selective functionality for the Royal Air Force, European Defence Agency and British Aerospace.

Two cockpits installed at RAF Linton-on-Ouse with dual flight controls (including Force Trim Release) and Type 2 SFS Hybrid Panels with functional switchgear. Each cockpit will have three interchangeable Hybrid Panels to emulate different aircraft types. These panels are mounted with over-centre latches are use USB connectivity and can be changed in a matter of seconds.
